Jay Westman

Chairman and CEO, J.W. Investments
A co-founder of Jayman MasterBUILT in 1980 along with his late father Al, Westman will head up the newly created J.W.Investments, which will focus on Jayman MasterBUILT's joint ventures, landholdings, investments and venture capital. Westman is Past Chairman of Alberta New Home Warranty, founding member of Professional Home Builders Institute of Alberta and Past President of Calgary and Alberta Home Builders Association. His accolades include the 2005 Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year (Prairie Region), the 2004 Consumer Choice Award Businessman of the Year, and a distinguished alumni award from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
Graham Boyce
President and Chief Operating Officer, Jayman MasterBUILT
A relative newcomer to the Jayman family, Boyce has spent the past three and a half years with the company, first as Chief Operating Officer of Innovations by Jayman, and subsequently as Executive Vice-President of Jayman MasterBUILT's Calgary region. Boyce, a civil engineer and graduate of the University of Manitoba, has 25 years' experience in the engineering consulting business across Western Canada, with particular strengths in the land development consulting and multidisciplined project management areas.
Derek Squirell
Vice-President, Innovations by Jayman and Aspire Calgary
A former chapter president of the Fraser Valley Home Builders Association, Squirell has 35 years' experience in civil engineering, land development and building construction. He has managed several large-scale, master-planned communities in Western Canada, built a number of award-winning golf courses in British Columbia, and provided his real-estate expertise in the financial modeling and development plan for the Athletes' Village in Whistler, B.C., for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. Squirell has an MBA, a Bachelor of Science and a diploma in engineering technology.
Larry Noer
Vice-President, Jayman MasterBUILT Calgary
Noer first entered the home-building industry 32 years ago, and has done everything from estimating, drafting and construction supervision right through to production, project management and executive management. Noer joined the Jayman team in 2001 as Chief Operating Officer for Innovations for Jayman, and three years ago took over the Chief Operating Officer's post with Jayman MasterBUILT.
Ed Nordlund
Executive Vice-President, Product Development and Marketing
Nordlund, a member of the Professional Homebuilders Institute of Alberta's first graduating class, has worked in the homebuilding industry for 38 years, with a diverse career that includes new home construction, marketing, design, estimating, real estate sales, prefabricated housing and construction management. A graduate of Ryerson Polytechnical Institute, where he studied architectural technology, Nordlund has held several key executive positions with Jayman through the years.
Jim Sirup
Executive Vice President, Edmonton Region
Through his almost 20-year career with Jayman, Jim continues to grow. His early years as a 3rd generation Journeyman Carpenter developed a strong work ethic. Through the years Jim continued to learn, graduating from the University of Calgary, Banff School of Management and as a Master Builder from the Professional Home Builders Institute of Alberta. During his career with Jayman, he continued to develop and hone his skills from the ground up in the homebuilding industry, growing with the organization from Technician to Chief Operating Officer. Through this growth, Jim has developed a proven track record and leadership ability, exceeding all benchmarks.
As Executive Vice President, Edmonton Region, Jim's expertise in the home building industry, dedication and leadership ability provides the vision, strategy and leadership necessary to allow the Edmonton Region to reach its potential.
